The Wire Insulation is a
thin solid Glass Coating. It is known that glass composed of a variety of oxides.
The Glass Composition
of GW Lab coating depends on the core material, customer
requirements and similar to the typical standard
compositions of Aluminosilicate, Borosilicate, Lead Silicate
and Soda Lime Glasses. Ion-Selective or other special
compositions glasses are also available.
The technology
allows us to receive various wall thickness and hermetic
glass–to–metal
seal. With very smooth, 100% inorganic, non–porous glass
coating provides exceptional dielectric strength, the
highest protection from adverse environments and other
unique properties to the wire.
The high mechanical
strength of continuous glass insulation and glass–to–metal seal make it possible to handle wire in micron
sizes.
Thermoplastic properties of
glass insulation permit bending the Glass Coated Wire
practically to any diameter.
